Honolulu (KHON2) – The Honolulu Museum of Art is bringing the fun to Hawaii residents with a new family activity.
The Honolulu Museum of Art brings back a scavenger hunt to reinvent the customer experience.
“We are always looking for different ways to reinvent the museum experience and ways for people to engage with HoMA’s incredible permanent collection of artwork, so we decided to offer gallery hunts to visitors of the museum all the time. These daily gallery hunts are designed for ages 5 and up, which is perfect to do with the family, as guests explore the galleries in search of certain works of art,” says Aaron Padilla, Director of Learning and of commitment.
Guests will be able to experience different Gallery Hunts throughout the year with new themes each quarter.
Padilla says, “The current Gallery Hunt theme is Expressive Gestures. We are therefore looking for works that show how artists use their works to share their emotions, opinions and ideas. Each Gallery Hunt will have a different theme and present museum visitors with different works of art.
Gallery Hunts at the Honolulu Museum of Art are offered to patrons day and night. To learn more about the museum’s gallery hunt and other events, visitors are encouraged to log on to the museum’s official website.
