The Property Brothers reveal they are ‘directly responsible’ for reuniting Renée Zellweger and Ant Anstead

It seems everyone wanted Renée Zellweger and Ant Anstead to reunite, including an unexpected duo: the Property Brothers. Drew and Jonathan Scott recently revealed that they were the ones who ended up bringing Zellweger and Anstead together, and then falling in love. And their hard work finally paid off!

Back on April 14, 2022, the Scott brothers sat down with ExtraTV to talk everything from Drew’s future fatherhood to Jonathan loving GF Zooey Deschanel’s Vanity Fair dress. While we loved the whole interview, we’re losing track of this new information about one of our favorite celebrity couples. The interviewer started the question by saying, “You are indirectly responsible for Renée Zellweger meeting Ant Anstead?” To which Jonathan corrected her, saying, “Actually, directly responsible.”

Drew added: “Yeah so Celebrity IOU Joyride wasn’t actually just a car show to give back to people. It was actually an undercover dating show to find Ant, the love of her life.

In the interview, it was also discussed how Zellweger originally wanted to be on celebrity IOU after seeing Brad Pitt in an episode but ended up agreeing to be the spin-off’s guest star Celebrity IOU Joyride. From there she met Anstead, and the rest is history.

Anstead and Zellweger have been together and keeping a low profile since June 2021. Since then, the pair have been spotted packing on the PDA and Zellweger even bought a house near the HGTV hunk.
